What We Do

“Companioning is about going to the wilderness of the soul with another human being…”

-Alan Wolfelt, “Eleven Tenets of Companioning the Bereaved”

Each member of The Pacific Death Doula Collaborative is proficiently trained in providing end-of-life support to those in need.

Our members’ expertise draws upon their lived experiences and multidisciplinary educational backgrounds in the fields of Psychology, Music, Fine Arts, English Literature, Intercultural Communication and more.

In our approach to end of life work, we operate from a “companioning” framework. This framework highlights the concepts of bearing witness and walking alongside another.
